Swimming pools are about relaxing and having fun, so once in a while, we like to have fun here, at Bobco Pools. So we thought we’d share with you our favorite movies with the best pool scenes ever!
How many times have you yelled, “Doodie!” from Caddyshack, or re-enacted some of these other scenes when playing with your friends? Without question, pools are just good old fashioned fun, and we think you’ll agree that these scenes from movies are just that – fun!
Have a great pool scene for us that we forgot about? Drop a message for us in the comments section and let us know! Obviously, some pool scenes had to be edited so there wasn’t anything too risqué in there.
Did you know that the most popular way to jump into a pool is by doing a cannonball!?!

When you only get 15 minutes a day to enjoy the pool at the country club, you have to make those 15 minutes count!
This is exactly how we sound when we sing in our empty pool before we fill it up … Exactly.
When you’re a kid, being in the pool is the greatest thing that could possibly happen for you on a summer day. Squints thinks it’s the second-greatest thing that could happen.
We highly recommend you never try this. Not with a mini-bike, a moped, a motorcycle and definitely not with an RV.
After the movie “Caddyshack” came out, I’m betting “Baby Ruth” sales went through the roof, and pools everywhere were doodi-fied! (My real question, though, is how many people grabbed real doodie thinking it was just a Baby Ruth bar someone tossed in there?)

Just like doing a cannonball into a pool without doing part of Ron Burgundy’s speech is impossible, playing volleyball in the pool without yelling at Florence Nightingale to play some defense is equally difficult!
There were so many great scenes in “Vacation,” but this one stands out as one of the best overall — not just as one of the best pool scenes ever. Any time you get Christie Brinkley jumping into a pool – that’s a good thing.
We hope you enjoyed this post, and if you have a “best pool scenes ever” nomination, let us hear about it below in the comments!
